Blob TD 1.1!

I'm happy to have finally gotten around to publishing an update for Blob TD! This update includes a lot of balance changes that smooth out the difficulty early on and introduces some forgiving mechanics such as the ability to replace towers. The map has also undergone a few changes to better highlight the strengths of all the different towers.

Updates:

  • Towers are now movable for a small gold fee that scales up each time you move a tower.
  • Adjustments to the map layout.
  • Blobapult slime damage no longer stacks per instance of slime.
  • Blobapult slow upgrade moved to be available straight away for far less gold (300 gold). This should hopefully emphasize the role of the blobapult as a utility / mobility tower over raw damage.
  • Gooshooters now reload automatically after each round.
  • Blob no longer collides with boss monsters.
  • A slew of balance tweaks to damage numbers, gold costs, and monster stats across the board.
  • Performance improvements.
